About FOFL
Since 1988, the Friends group has evolved from a crisis-response team into a vital support system. Today, FOFL consists of over 200 dues-paying members and a network of over 600 supporters. While the city budget provides the essentials, the Friends provide the "extras" that define the Faneuil experience.
-
Funding for guest speakers, children’s performers, and adult workshops.
-
Providing museum passes, current periodicals, and comfortable furnishings.
-
Supporting our beloved traditions, including the annual Funky Auction.
-
Assisting our dedicated librarians in creating a welcoming environment for all.

Our Mission
Our mission is to ensure the Faneuil Branch Library remains a cornerstone of the Oak Square community through advocacy, financial support for library materials, and the promotion of specialized branch programming.
Meetings
We typically meet on the third Tuesday of each month from September through June.
Our Annual Meeting is held every October to elect new board members and review our annual finances.
